More and more women recognise the importance of an annual health check to pick up indications of any problems at the earliest opportunity. Discuss your general health and have urine, weight, cholesterol and blood pressure checked together with advice on gynaecological problems, family planning (often including IUD fitting), cervical smears, breast disease, menopause. Osteoporosis, emergency contraception.
